Nestled in Birmingham’s southern suburb, Edgbaston is Warwickshire County Cricket Club’s home. The stadium was built in 1882 having a capacity of 25,000 people. It has the best modern ground in England, and the Thwaite Memorial Scoreboard that was constructed in 1950 is considered to be one of the most remarkable features of the stadium.

Riverside Ground is Durham County Cricket Club’s home. The first significant match was played here in 1992 between Durham and the New Zealanders. Its infrastructural development was undertaken in 1995, and the seating capacity was increased to 17,000 people.

The Rose Bowl, Southampton

Michael Hopkins & Partners, the award-winning architects are the designers behind the Hampshire or Rose Bowl which is in the shape of a circular amphitheater. It is home to Hampshire County Cricket Club and will host a World Cup match for the first time on June 5 since its establishment in 2001. The stadium has the capacity to fit in 25,000 people.

There are free shuttles available to reach the venue from Southampton Airport. If you’re staying in London or Weymouth, then you can reach the stadium by train.

Situated in Ashley Down area, County Ground stadium was established by WG Grace, former English cricketer in 1889 with a capacity of accommodating 15,000 persons. It has been a host to Gloucestershire for almost 130 years. The stadium has hosted three World Cup matches in the past and will host another three this time.

The stadium is just 2.5 miles away from the Temple Meads Station which is well-connected by trains to London, Birmingham, and Taunton. Alternatively, you can also hop on a local bus on Gloucester Road. Don’t drive to the venue on your personal vehicles as there is no parking facility available.
