Riverside Ground is Durham County Cricket Club’s home. The first significant match was played here in 1992 between Durham and the New Zealanders. Its infrastructural development was undertaken in 1995, and the seating capacity was increased to 17,000 people.

It is home to Hampshire County Cricket Club and will host a World Cup match for the first time on June 5 since its establishment in 2001. The stadium has the capacity to fit in 25,000 people.

How to reach?

The stadium is just 2.5 miles away from the Temple Meads Station which is well-connected by trains to London, Birmingham, and Taunton. Alternatively, you can also hop on a local bus on Gloucester Road. Don’t drive to the venue on your personal vehicles as there is no parking facility available.
